ITU AI members have collaborated with various national and international institutions.

The center is supported by national and international institutions. For example, Turkish Industry & Business Association (TÜSİAD), İstanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), Turkey Informatics Foundation (TBV) and Turkey Artificial Intelligence Initiative (TR-AI) indicated their interests to collaborate with the İTÜ AI Center through national and international projects. Also, Military Electronic Industries (Aselsan), Yapı Kredi Technology, ETS Tur, Honda Research Institute in Japan, Vodafone, ATP Ata Holding and Ericsson stated that they will cooperate and give support to the applied R & D activities that will be conducted at İTÜ AI Center.
Moreover, public institutions such as the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning and the and Promotion Agency (ISPAT) raised their interests on collaborative R&D activities as well as the educational activities to raise awareness of artificial intelligence in Turkey.
İTÜ AI Center are also working with other significant entities in İTÜ such as İTÜ ARI Teknokent, Center of Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing (UHUZAM-CSCRS), Agricultural Monitoring and Information System Laboratory (TARBIL), and Forestry Information Center (ORBİS) for interdisciplinary collaborations and grand scale international and national project preparations.
İTÜ AI Center has also ties with other academic institutions, namely İstanbul University Aziz Sancar Experimental Medicine Research Center, Medipol University, Yeditepe University and Bahcesehir University to conduct research on basic and applied sciences on artificial intelligence.
In addition, İTÜ AI researchers have close relations with the prestigious universities around the world such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA, Ecole Federale Polytechnique de Lausanne in Switzerland, Ottawa University and Ryerson University in Canada, Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, Halmstad University in Sweden, and Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain in terms of joint research projects, dual degree graduate programs and exchange of faculty.
