New paper from our research center published at Aerospace Science and Technology demonstrates how deep learning methods can be used to advance fault tolerant fighter aircraft control. Results show that data driven prediction of engine and actuator failures can be used for rapid controller reconfiguration and safe landing across a wide range of failure scenarios.
